Alsea Revisit
Flynn Creek (in tan below) again serves as the control watershed in the revisit study. The treatment watershed, Needle Branch, has two harvests. The first, (in green) followed by the second (in orange).
Gaging Stations
Gaging stations are crucial to monitoring the streams running through these watersheds. Needle Branch supports three temperature gaging stations, used to measure the water temperature along the stretches of the stream. The thin dashed blue lines are the non-fish bearing streams and the blue lines are the fish-bearing streams. In this map, the first harvest has been completed and the replanting has yet to begin. The riparian buffer can be seen along the fish-bearing section of the stream.
